The Band...
Taylor O'Connor
Taylor O'Connor: Piano, Drums
Taylor is a man of many talents. He is a natural at piano and started playing at age 5. He also plays drums and is a very intuitive music arranger. On the first album he played drums on the songs Push and Taylor Road--he even played the mandolin on Drinker! Taylor lives in New Mexico and I live in North Carolina so we've had to overcome a lot of obstacles to keep the music going. Taylor and I have been writing and recording together since our beginnings in 1986.
Rich Spangenberg
Rich Spangenberg: Guitar, Keyboards, Bass
Rich is a recent addition to the band. A colleague at work, we began writing songs and recording together only a couple of weeks after we met. Rich was deeply involved in the songs Mary, and Need, and he played some awesome bass grooves on When I Saw Love.
George Varani
George Varani: Guitar, Bass
George is about the greatest guy I know. He started playing guitar at the same time as me--in fact, we were roommates when we both picked up the guitar. Now George is a dad 3 times over but he is always up for playing some guitar. George plays guitar with a fiery, rockabilly style that exactly matches his hyperactive personality. You can hear George's guitar work on the song Admit Me.
Patrick Williams
Patrick Williams: Vocals, Guitar, Bass
I've always considered myself a songwriter and singer first, and a musician second. From the start, I only wanted to learn the things required to write songs and record them. From the moment I first picked up the guitar that is all I've wanted to do. I love the feeling of writing a new song idea, going to work, and thinking about it all day; then rushing home to listen and work on it some more. I'm so grateful that God gave me this spark to draw from.
